Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority is the acronym for APEDA. This organization was formed in 1985 through an act that promotes exports of scheduled products. Scheduled products are provided with financial assistance, information, and guidelines. Exporters who want to export APEDA-listed products must self-register under the Act if they want to export these products.

Aside from providing financial aid to scheduled products, it also prepares guidelines and provides information concerning the progress of those products.

What are the Documents Required for APEDA Registration in India?
- Duly signed APEDA application form
- Copy of Import-Export code issued by D.G.F.T.
- Bank details and certification duly signed by the authorities.
- Bank A/c. statement of the account of the firm (for latest 2 months)
- Canceled cheque.
- In case of a company, certified copy of MOA, In case of partnership firm, partnership deed is required.
What is the Procedure to obtain the APEDA Registration?
Using digital signatures, the applicant can submit an online application. By following the requisite steps, exporters can apply online –
Visit The Website
Visit the APEDA Website, login, and click on “Register as Member”.
Provide The Requisite Detail
Click on the submit button once you have entered the required details like IE code, email address and mobile number.
Generation Of OTP For Confirmation
One-Time Passwords are required to confirm details. OTPs will be sent via e-mail and mobile number. Go ahead and click Submit.
Filing The Application Online
Once the verification has been completed, you can fill out and submit the online application.
Note-The Documents Should Be In The JPEG, PDF, Or PNG Formats Only.
Processing Of Application Form
By returning to the website with your assigned OTP, you can complete the online application in one or more sessions. As soon as the data has been entered into the respective fields, make sure to save it. If no online payment has been made, the data entered can still be edited.
Payment Of Requisite Fees
Payment of Rs. 5000/- excluding taxes is required for the APEDA registration. The following modes of payment are available:
- Credit Card.
- Debit Card.
- Demand draft in favor of “APEDA” payable with respective cities
Generation Of Application Number
Upon payment, an application number will be generated, which can be used for future purposes.
Issuance Of Login Details
A login detail will be emailed to the registered email ID of the exporter upon issuance of a Registration Cum Membership Certificate. Through the “Exporter Login” link provided, Exporters can login into their respective accounts.
Status Check
By clicking the “Track Application” link and supplying the IE Code and Application number, applicants can monitor the status of their RCMC applications.
Re-Submission Of Documents
Discrepancies in applications must be reported and the exporter must resubmit them.
Approval Of RCMC
The final Step is the approval of RCMC, and once the approval is granted the Certificate can be taken using APEDA Login under the heading of “View RCMC Certificate”.
